Financial News Summary
Congress voted today Friday 2/13 on a ~ $790 billion economic stimulus bill that included an expansion of a first-time homebuyer tax credit and restored to $729,750 the upper loan limit in high-cost areas for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA loan guarantee programs. The next step is for President Obama to sign the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 bill into law.
